In paying tribute to the diverse landscape and culture across Canadas 13 provinces and territories, the PURE CANADIAN features a 13‐ply, heavy Canadian Maple shell, available in two sizes: 14 x 6, and 13 x 6, both manufactured in Sonors prestigious German factory! The 14 model comes standard with Die Cast Hoops, while the 13 model ships with Sonors steel Power Hoops. The steel action strainer system allows for fine tuning of the 2 x 8 stainless steel soundwires, and the vent hole is discretely concealed underneath the snare butt allowing more of the shells beautiful finish to be seen! Both drums are finished in high‐gloss transparent black stain, revealing the gorgeous birdseye grain of the outer layer of maple, a finish that has not been produced since the phasing out of Sonors Designer series in 2006.
